You can delete all TaskLock data yourself, directly in the app. No request to SimpDev is needed.
In-app self-service deletion
TaskLock provides in-app deletion for all app data:
- Open TaskLock
- Go to Settings
- Open Advanced
- Tap Delete all data
- Confirm deletion
What gets deleted
When the user confirms Delete all data, TaskLock deletes:
- Local app data on this device (settings, tasks, PIN, app configuration)
- Pairing links for this device
- Synced remote data related to those pairings (for example tasks/completion/session settings/unlock requests/money-reward sync state)
- Active connection state so devices are disconnected
What happens after deletion
- Deletion is intended to be immediate from the app side.
- The app is reset and must be set up again.
- Other previously paired devices are disconnected.
If user no longer has device access
